Helen Sophie Smith, 92, of Heathsville, VA, formerly of Severna Park, died on May 24, 2012.

Helen was born in Baltimore on June 19, 1919. She worked as a Photographer for the Motor Vehicle Administration.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bronislaw and Maryann Sierputowski, her daughter; Maryann Madej Adams and her son, Christopher B. Madej.

She was survived by her children; Patricia Korosi, Joseph Madej, Sylvia Grabus and Janet A. Madej. Helen was also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 6-8pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, on Wednesday, May 30th at 10am. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Baltimore.
