Carol, I am so sorry for your loss. The joy is no more pain or illness. Skip is with God and whole again. The girls and I will be thinking of his love of Ocean City when we are there this weekend.
Take care and please call me if you need anything.

Carol, Brett and Jodi;
We send our sincere words of sympathy at this difficult time, our families have been interwoven for so many years. There are many memories from times past that we share,
My prayer is that God will hold you all in his hands over these months ahead and that you will be blessed by the memories of your family. You surrounded Skip with love and gave him peace and contentment even to the end.

Mr. Skip was an amazing husband, father,and grandfather. I remember fondly our family vacations to Ocean City when we stayed across the hallway from his family. More recently I remember enjoying dance recitals in the row behind him! He will be sorely missed by so many.

So sorry for the loss of the patriach of the family. My sympathies to the Lankford family and friends. Ecclesiates 9:5 encourages us to know that our loved one will not be in this state for long and there will be a time when the righteous and unrighteous will have life.

Dear Jodi and family, I was so fortunate to meet your Dad. I still remember our trip to Ocean City and how he took us to your favorite restaurant. I also remember the ride he gave me the day after your wedding and how he lamented it was hard to let go. I hope all the good memories will bring you comfort. I know I am at a distance, but if there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask. Love, Anne
