When I looked into Rita's eyes, I felt her goodness and warmth. She was actually friends with my former next door neighbors, the Forman's, but often gave me support and offered prayers during my husband's illness. She was so kind and thoughtful to me even though we were not close friends. I am very sad for the LeGette family, you have lost your rock. What an inspiration Rita has been to all who knew her, and I trust her spirit will carry you through this very difficult time.

I met Rita in 1997 when I joined the traditional choir at St. John's. Rita was a very special person with a BIG heart who was always willing to listen. She never had an unkind word to say about anybody. With her caring spirit, she was always willing to help those in need. Rita touched so many people in her life and she will be missed by many. What a blessing she was!!!!
My heart goes out to Jim and the rest of Rita's family. I hope that your sadness will diminish in time. May you find peace in knowing that Rita is no longer suffering on this earth and that she is in a better place with God.
